The Village of Indianola is excited to invite residents, friends, former residents, and visitors to join us for the 2026 Good Ol’ Days Festival and Indianola’s 190th Anniversary Celebration!
This special milestone event will celebrate 190 years of Indianola’s history, community spirit, and small-town traditions with a full day of family-friendly fun, entertainment, local vendors, and community pride.
We are also honored to feature historical actors from the Vermilion County 200th Celebration Committee, helping bring local history to life throughout the day.
Whether you are coming for the parade, cruise-in, live music, silent auction, or simply to reconnect with friends and neighbors, we hope you will join us for this historic community celebration.

- Parade line-up begins on Mill Street.

- Parade begins.
- Kiddie Tractor Pull in-person registration and check-in begin.

Park Activities — $5 Bracelet Required
- Kiddie Carnival
- Bounce House and Waterslide Combo
- Water runs from 2:00–4:00 PM.
Indianola Jail
Pay to have someone “arrested” and placed in the Indianola Jail.

- Kiddie Tractor Pull begins.
- Donkey Dump — Board #1 drawing.
3:00 PM
- Cake Walk — Runs until all cakes and desserts are gone.

- Highland Cow Meet & Greet
- Petting Zoo

- Cruise-In begins on South Walnut Street.
- Participants may stay as long as they would like.
