The Village of Indianola is accepting sealed bids for the sale of surplus property that is no longer necessary for municipal operations. Items are being sold as-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
Correction Notice:
A double-seat firetruck spring rider was mistakenly included in an earlier version of this notice. That item is not available for bid and has been removed from the surplus list.
Surplus Items Available:
- Dunk tank trigger mechanism
- Aluminum/wood stairs (formerly used with dunk tank)
- Four-seat vintage theater seating
- Eight (8) miscellaneous batteries
- Cotton candy machine
Bid Submission Instructions:
- Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:
“Surplus Property Bid – [Item Name]”
- Bidders may submit offers on one or more items.
- Each bid must include:
- Bidder’s full name and contact information
- A clear description of the item(s) being bid on
- The proposed bid amount for each item

- All items are sold as-is, where-is.
- The only accepted forms of payment are check or exact cash. No change will be provided.
- Winning bidders must arrange for payment and pickup within seven (7) business days of the award.
- The Village of Indianola reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process.
